Think, don’t just react

In a time where so many crazy and senseless things are happening in the world around us, it is important that we exhibit some temperance when dealing with and processing these occurrences.  With every act of malfeasance there will be an equal act of virtue to counter it.  We can not control what happens in life, but we can control how we respond to it.

“I consider it a mark of great prudence in a man to abstain from threats or any contemptuous expressions, for neither of these weaken the enemy, but threats make him more cautious, and the other excites his hatred, and a desire to revenge himself.”

-Niccolo Machiavelli
